Finishing Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled Finishing Manager to lead and enhance the finishing processes within our client’s textile manufacturing operations. In this role, the Finishing Manager will be instrumental in upholding the utmost quality standards and ensuring that products align seamlessly with customer specifications.

• Receipt of goods from the weaving department.
• Greasy perching of woven goods.
• Responsible for the mending of pieces.
• Creation of individual piece process tickets.
• Wet finishing including Scouring and Milling.
• Raising fabric on the various machines available.
• Liable for Cropping, Tentering, Raising and Pressing.
• Prioritise workload through the department.
• Identify quality issues.
• Organise processing of goods at third party locations.
• Computer system literate; TMS desirable.
• To assist in the maintenance of a safe working environment through strict adherence to company health and safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure machines are operated in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure all guards are securely attached, any safety interlocks fitted are working correctly.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
• Adhere to all C.O.S.H.H guidelines.
• Ensure all PPE equipment is issued and used where appropriate.
