Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales Manager to join their team to cover the UK and drive growth in the personal care/cosmetics area of the business. As a Head of Sales you will play a key role in expanding the market presence, developing strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the personal care/cosmetics industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team goals.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Essential Experience

  • The individual needs to be dynamic, structured, and driven in their approach with strong relationship building skills.
  • Have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, cosmetic science, pharmaceutical science, biology or microbiology. Preferably you have experience in cosmetic science.
  • Previous experience working in a personal care/cometic sales/BD capacity – with a focus on distributors.
  • Manage and grow a team.
  • Involvement of working closely with R&D, Quality Innovation and Marketing departments.
  • This role will be based in the UK, with the opportunity of international travel.
  • UK driving licence & ability to drive in Europe.
  • Ability to work within a structured sales process.
  • Ability to be an effective team player and cooperate well wit
