Industrial Machinery Area Sales Manager

Working in partnership with a long-standing industrial machinery manufacturer based in West Yorkshire we are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to drive the Capital Sales market for the business.

With numerous branches across the UK they are one of the largest providers of their manufactured products.

If you are currently a Sales Manager looking for a field based role, or a field sales professional with a wealth of experience in the industrial applications sector and you have the hunger to succeed and progress then this role can offer you great stability and progression.

The role will be predominantly focus on specifying and selling solutions to various industries, but some cross over to other product groups may be required.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the right candidate will have a positive and driven outlook, ability to work to targets, ability to identify customer needs and provide industry leading solutions.

• Making appointments to meet new and existing customers.
• Carrying out site surveys & understanding the customers’ requirements.
• Making presentations to promote new products.
• Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments.
• Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service.
• Carrying out competitor analysis and understanding their products and services.
