Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales Manager to join their team to cover the UK and drive growth in the personal care/cosmetics area of the business. As a Head of Sales you will play a key role in expanding the market presence, developing strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the personal care/cosmetics industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team goals.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Essential Experience
- The individual needs to be dynamic, structured, and driven in their approach with strong relationship building skills.
- Have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, cosmetic science, pharmaceutical science, biology or microbiology. Preferably you have experience in cosmetic science.
- Previous experience working in a personal care/cometic sales/BD capacity – with a focus on distributors.
- Manage and grow a team.
- Involvement of working closely with R&D, Quality Innovation and Marketing departments.
- This role will be based in the UK, with the opportunity of international travel.
- UK driving licence & ability to drive in Europe.
- Ability to work within a structured sales process.
- Ability to be an effective team player and cooperate well wit
