We are working exclusively with an industry leader and specialist in the design and manufacturing of high-performance filtration machinery across multiple industries and sectors.

This organisation prides itself on the robust and innovative products that they provide to its customers and with several decades of industry experience in providing full turnkey solutions for its clients.

They are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to cover the South of England Region to lead and help manage multiple projects ranging up to £3 million. You will have the opportunity to work with industry experts and apply your skills within a successful projects team, reporting to the Head of Projects you will have an integral part in the successful completion of an increasing order book.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the projects team on larger projects and work autonomously on smaller projects, you will have full responsibility from inception to completion.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Control the project budget when working on individual projects, create BOMs, and provide costing details.
  • Design and Installation of ductwork, LEV Systems
  • Provide machinery, materials, and parts specification on projects,
  • Conduct technical surveys on-site and produce accurate technical drawings for project documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to plan project activities and ensure alignment with their requirements.
  • Manage on-site activities, including health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Attend site progress reviews and provide updates on project status.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with on-site engineers and arrange access and lifting equipment when necessary.
  • Design using AutoCAD package

Essential Experience

  • Formal engineering qualifications at HNC level or higher, or relevant industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D with ductwork drawing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems and ductwork design.
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in producing Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of thriving under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and openness to feedback.
  • CSCS Card or other Health and Safety certificates.
  • BHOS 601-, 602 & 604-LEV Inspection, Design, and Commissioning Qualifications.
